About
TaxCaster, TurboTax’s refund calculator, embedded directly inside MyADP. Workers get a credible refund estimate, prefilled with their own payroll data, without leaving the app they already trust.
Challenge
To get an estimate, workers had to leave ADP, find their pay stubs, and enter everything manually. Data entry is the part of tax estimation people dread most, and it showed: workers dropped off, and those who finished didn’t fully trust a number they’d pieced together themselves.
Goal
Make the estimate effortless and trustworthy. Prefill what ADP already knows, ask only for what it doesn’t, and make the experience feel native to MyADP. For workers, that means a confident answer in minutes. For TurboTax, it turns a seasonal tool into a year-round path to filing.
